The gospel of Matthew 9:18-26 presents our
Lord Jesus Christ as our Healer, the Restorer of life and the greatest
Physician the world has ever known. The woman that suffered for haemorrhage for
twelve good years received her healing just by touching his garment. Jesus
confirmed her healing. He said to her, “Take heart, daughter; your faith has
made you well.” In this same passage
Jesus restored the life of a dead girl. a ruler came in and knelt before him,
saying, “My daughter has just died; but come and lay your hand on her, and she
will live.” Note, the man did not say her daughter was in comma, instead,
"my daughter has just died." Even in such hopeless situation He knew
quite well that it is only Jesus that can bring her daughter back to life.
Really, that was what happened. Jesus went in and took the girl by the hand,
and the girl arose. That was how the funeral was cancelled! Child of God, as
long as you have faith in Christ Jesus, you are receiving your healing. Every
dry bone shall rise again. Through you, God's name will be glorified in Jesus
name - Amen!

Jesus, our Bridegroom
The gospel of Matthew 25:6 presents our
Lord Jesus Christ as the long awaited Bridegroom. In the gospel of Matthew
9:14-17, the disciples of John came to Jesus, saying, “Why do we and the
Pharisees fast, but your disciples do not fast?” And Jesus said to them, “Can
the wedding guests mourn as long as the bridegroom is with them? The days will
come, when the bridegroom is taken away from them, and then they will fast."
Our Lord Jesus Christ is the One we are fasting for. He is the One we long for.
He is indeed the long awaited Messiah. To him be glory and praise both now and
forevermore - Amen!

Jesus, the Demon Destroyer
The gospel of Matthew 8:28-34 presents our
Lord Jesus Christ as the most powerful Man on earth, He is the demon destroyer.
When he to the country of the Gadarenes, two demoniacs met him, coming out of
the tombs, so fierce that no one could pass that way. And behold, they cried
out, “What have you to do with us, O Son of God? Have you come here to torment
us before the time?” Now a herd of many swine was feeding at some distance from
them. And the demons begged him, “If you cast us out, send us away into the
herd of swine.” And he said to them, “Go.” So they came out and went into the
swine; and behold, the whole herd rushed down the steep bank into the sea, and
perished in the waters." Child of God, your enemies are in trouble. What
happened to these demons will soon happen to all those who are trying to
destroy you. You are hereby declared free from every demonic possession in the
name of the father, Son and Holy Spirit - Amen!

Jesus, the Visible and Invisible Messiah
In the gospel of John 20:24-29 after the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, the disciples
said to Thomas who was not there when Jesus appeared to them, “We have seen the
Lord.” But he said to them, “Unless I see in his hands the print of the nails,
and place my finger in the mark of the nails, and place my hand in his side, I
will not believe.” The next week Jesus appeared to them and said to Thomas, “Put
your finger here, and see my hands; and put out your hand, and place it in my
side; do not be faithless, but believing.” Thomas answered him, “My Lord and my
God!” Jesus said to him, “You have believed because you have seen me. Blessed
are those who have not seen and yet believe.” Physically, we may say that the
Risen Christ is invisible but spiritually, our Lord Jesus Christ is everywhere.
He is our invisible Guest of honour. Our visible Messiah. To him be glory and
praise both now and forevermore - Amen!

Celebration of Christ: Jesus, the Healer and Restorer of Life
Our Lord Jesus Christ is the greatest
Healer the world has ever known. As a healer, He was so powerful that even the
fringe of his garment was bringing healing to the people. In the gospel of Mark
5:21-43 a
woman with an issue of blood said to herself: “If I touch even his garments, I
shall be made well.” And immediately the haemorrhage ceased- and she felt in
her body that she was healed of her disease." Child of God, you may not
touch Jesus with your physical hand, but with faith Jesus can touch any part of
your body, especially those parts where you are experiencing pains. You are
receiving your healing in Jesus name - Amen!
Today's gospel also presents our Lord Jesus
Christ as the Restorer of life. When
Jesus arrived at the home of Jairus were they had already prepared for the
burial of a little girl, he said to them, “Why do you make a tumult and weep?
The child is not dead but sleeping.” And they laughed at him. But he put them
all outside, and took the child’s father and mother and those who were with
him, and went in where the child was. Taking her by the hand he said to her,
“Talitha cumi”; which means, “Little girl, I say to you, arise.” And
immediately the girl got up and walked" Child of God, as long as our Lord
Jesus Christ is concerned you will not die premature death. He will not allow
the enemies to bury you untimely. You shall live to glorify the name of the
Lord and it shall be well with you in Jesus name -Amen!
