A wise leader utters nothing but wisdom.
His speeches are full of insights and inspirations. People usually consult wise
leaders before taking any major decision. They know quite well that the wise
leader will never deceive or mislead them. in the gospel of Mark 12:13-17 the Pharisees and some of
the Herodians came to entrap Jesus. They asked him, “Teacher, we know that you
are true, and care for no man; for you do not regard the position of men but
truly teach the way of God. Is it lawful to pay taxes to Caesar, or not? Should
we pay them, or should we not?” But knowing their hypocrisy, he said to them, “Why
put me to the test? Bring me a coin, and let me look at it.” And they brought
one. And he said to them, “Whose likeness and inscription is this?” They said
to him, “Caesar’s.” Jesus said to them, “Render to Caesar the things that are
Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s.” And they were amazed at him.
As a wise leader Jesus did not contradict himself. He did not even fall into
the trap of his enemies. He was able to answer wisely. Even his opponents were
amazed. They all admired his wisdom. Child of God, as you continue to follow
Christ, He will continue to inspire you. He will always direct you on what to
say and what to do. He will not allow the enemies to humiliate you. And it
shall be well with you in Jesus name - Amen!
