The marriage institution is facing a lot of
challenges. Apart from the gay union which is a major attack against the
marriage institution, divorce is another major problem facing the marriage
institution. In the gospel of Mark 10:1-12
our Lord Jesus Christ condemn all forms of divorce. According to him, ‘God
made them male and female.’ ‘For this reason a man shall leave his father and
mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.’ So they
are no longer two but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let
not man put asunder.” May God keep married couples united and may He cancel
every spirit of divorce in Jesus name - Amen!

Unity is the essence of marriage. Nothing and nobody can separate what God has
united.
Prayer
for Married Couples:
Lord Jesus Christ, you came to restore the marriage institution. You put an end
to all the irrelevant questions on marriage and divorce. As long as you are
concerned nothing can separate what you joined together. Lord, may you deliver
married couples from the spirit of division and separation. Keep them united
all the days of their lives. And may their union bring glory and honour to your
name, through Christ our Lord - Amen!
